Butler-Stevens Inc.
has established a simple selection procedure for churches and individuals
who are interested in purchasing a Church Organ. Since our company has
no sales staff, it is important that one of our owners oversee the process
of selection from the very first inquiry to the installation of the selected
organ and the training of the organists who will use it. We can
thereby insure that every customer is able to make an informed decision and
that he or she can rest assured that this process will conclude with their
complete satisfaction.
NOTE: If you are planning to build a new church, we
recommend that you consult with us during the design phase of the project.
By consulting with the architect ahead of time, we can save a church
considerable expense later.
STEP 1: Preliminary Meeting
You are invited to contact Butler-Stevens Inc.
by phone, e-mail, fax or mail to make a preliminary appointment to discuss
the possibility of owning a new Ahlborn-Galanti organ. If you
represent a church committee, we will ask to set a time for us to meet at
your church so that we may assess the physical and acoustical needs of your
church. Individual customers are invited to make an appointment to
meet with us at our showroom.
STEP 2: Demonstration
After the preliminary meeting, the church committee
will be invited to see, hear, and play the recommended model organ in one of
our installed church settings. A date should be set for this
demonstration at the preliminary meeting to facilitate the arrangements.
At this second meeting, a professional demonstration will be given by our
concert artist so that the entire committee may easily assess the
capabilities of the instrument. Church organists are then welcome to
play the organ and ask questions.
STEP 3: Proposal
A proposal is delivered to the committee by one of the
owners of Butler-Stevens Inc. This proposal contains
specification information and pricing on all of the instruments and
equipment in which the selection committee has shown interest, including the
recommended speakers and amplifiers as well as delivery and installation
costs.
STEP 4: Select Organ
The selection committee decides which instrument it
would like and contacts Butler-Stevens Inc. A contract is drawn
up and delivered by one of the owners of Butler-Stevens Inc.
When the contract has been approved and signed, a deposit of one-half the
contract price is due. The remainder is due at the time of the
installation. At this point, the selected organ and necessary tone
cabinets and amplifiers are ordered and the installation is scheduled.
STEP 5: Installation and Training
The selected system is installed and the organists are
trained by one of the owners of Butler-Stevens Inc. The
Dedication Concert is scheduled at this time.
